WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO PUBLISH THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SO THAT ANY NEL RESIDENT CAN BE PART OF THE SURVEYS ON LINE.
YOUR VIEWS AND THOUGHTS ARE REQUIRED TO MAKE FAIR JUDGEMENTS – PLEASE GO TO THESE SURVEYS AND TAKE PART.
Dear Sir or Madam
We’ve launched two consultations in the last few days, Selective Licensing and Bereavement Services.
Please complete the surveys as a stakeholder and circulate them amongst your staff, volunteers and clients.
Paper copies are available at council customer access points or Lincs Inspire libraries and different formats are available upon request.
We are considering a landlord and tenant friendly Selective Licensing Scheme within parts of the East and West Marsh areas. It’s intended to tackle the issues of crime, anti-social behaviour and poor housing conditions.
We’d like to know about the issues you have experienced in these areas, what you think of the proposal as well as the areas suggested for selective licensing.

Supporting documents are available at the following link. We are also holding drop-in sessions for landlords and residents. You can find more about these here: https://www.nelincs.gov.uk/consultation-and-surveys/have-your-say
This consultation closes on Thursday 26 March.
We are carrying out a project to improve the accessibility and affordability of our bereavement services.
We are looking at the options of a tearoom and pet crematorium. Any income generated by the pet crematorium and tearoom will be used to re-invest in the service.

This consultation closes on Tuesday 4 February.
