Community Safety Funding

Third round of funding from the PCC Community Safety Fund is now open for applications

The Community Safety Fund launched by Police and Crime Commissioner Jonathan Evison last year is now open for a new round of applications for funding community projects. 

The Community Safety Fund offers grants toward the costs of crime reduction and community safety projects and providing support for victims of crime. It is designed to kick-start local projects that will cut crime and anti-social behaviour and improve residents’ feelings of safety. The fund can provide grants of between £500 and £35,000 and is open to non-profit organisations, charities, community groups and social enterprises together with Town and Parish Councils.

This third funding round will close at midnight on 14th June. Full details of the programme and how to apply can be found at and the press notice can be found here

Groups are encouraged to think about how they can tackle projects in that help their communities that could be funded through the Community Safety Fund and get applying.
