Humberside Police have launched Operation Coastline to help residents and visitors stay safe along the coast during the summer.

There will be higher visibility Policing across coastal areas to help protect the community. Read the Press Release here www.humberside.police.uk/news/humberside/news/news/2024/may/covering-the-coast–operation-coastline

To keep up with the latest Op Coastline updates, make sure to follow @HumberBeat on Facebook and Twitter and follow #OpCoastline.

There’s also been a launch of Sandi Starfish alongside Op Coastline.  This initiative was started by local Cleethorpes Policing team and receives funding from a variety of sources. It helps ensure young kids don’t get separated and lost from their families this summer.

There’s an information page about Sandi Starfish here: www.humberside.police.uk/police-forces/humberside-police/areas/campaigns/campaigns/sandi-starfish

Along the Cleethorpes front there will be 7 locations with obvious Sandi Starfish signs. Kids can get Sandi wristbands and if they get lost, hopefully they can head towards a Starfish to get help.

If you’re in Cleethorpes this summer with families and children make sure they know about Sandi Starfish.
