Humber Watch<\/strong> is the Neighbourhood Watch Association that covers the Humberside Police Force Area (East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humber Watch<\/strong> is accredited by OurWatch<\/a> – the national Neighbourhood Watch body – to support Neighbourhood Watch across our region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four authority areas that make up the Humberside Policing region all work with and support Neighbourhood Watch and Neighbourhood Groups in different ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except of course, the four areas actually all do very similar things as well and all share the same core goals, objectives and principles to support our communities well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, Humber Watch<\/strong> brings these four areas together with an organisation that makes sure that good practice is shared; lessons (both positive and negative) are learned from each other; economy of scale is used on projects and programmes so we complement each other rather than overlap; and we have a collective voice across the region for the benefit of each group of neighbours or residents that come together in their area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re interested in STARTING a Neighbourhood Watch group then contact the administrators<\/a> in your county area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need to FIND OUT MORE about Neighbourhood Watch – again please contact the local lead<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If an issue arises with Neighbourhood Watch across Humberside then those issues ultimately get escalated to Humber Watch as the local Force Area Association to help resolve. Hopefully most people will never contact Humber Watch in this way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We run occasional events or campaigns under the Humber Watch banner, so keep an eye on this blog, but also watch local websites and social media channels for your own area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
