This year, for the first time, Ourwatch (the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation) is hosting their Neighbourhood Watch Conference online. (usually it’s a face-to-face event in London or Manchester).
The event is via Zoom on Wed 24th September 2025 from 10am-2pm.
VANEL oversee Neighbourhood Watch for North East Lincolnshire, and will be ‘attending’ the conference ourselves and we encourage anyone in North East Lincolnshire connected to Neighbourhood Watch to connect and join the conference too.
Details about the conference are online here in the September copy of the Ourwatch newsletter. And registration for the event is here.
But VANEL recognise that some Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators or volunteers locally will find it more difficult to Zoom in to a conference like this. So, on the 24th, VANEL will be joining the Conference via our big video screen and we’re inviting you to join us.
We’ll be online 10am-2pm for the Conference and you’re welcome to join us at 82 Grimsby Road for the whole conference or for one or more of the four hour long sessions (see below). There will be refreshments and a nibble for those joining us.
So if you’re connected to a Neighbourhood Watch Group in NEL and would like to join VANEL online from our offices then please let us know in advance. Contact liz@vanel.org.uk who is taking ‘bookings’ or karl@vanel.org.uk if you have questions.
Otherwise please register yourself now with Ourwatch direct to join via Zoom from the comfort of your own computer!
