Chance to visit the Town Hall

Town Hall to open for Heritage Open Days
Grimsby Town Hall is to host two heritage open days in September as part of an annual national project to celebrate heritage, culture and history.
The iconic local building situated in Grimsby town centre will host a craft fair alongside the open day, giving local tradesmen and women the chance to show off and sell their wares.
On Friday 8 September and Saturday 9 September people will have the chance to wonder around the building, exploring some of the recently renovated rooms and even getting a look around the Time Trap museum, taking a walk through the towns history.
Tracy Frisby, civic services manager, said: “The Heritage Open Days are a fantastic opportunity to come along with the family and explore this wonderful historic building.
“Anyone wishing to have a stall at the Town Hall over one or two days should get in touch with the Town Hall on 01472 324109.”
Stall holders will be charged £6.00 for the two days, with funds raised going to the Mayors charities – the Carer’s Support Service and The Linkage Trust.
The Heritage Open Days will be held at Grimsby Town Hall on Friday 8 September 2017, from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturday 9 September 2017, from 10am to 4pm.
Heritage Open Days is a project that aims to open up as many places as possible across England to the public for free every September. To find out more about Heritage Open Days, visit https://www.heritageopendays.org.uk.
