We have recently launched a survey on NHS Health Checks for those aged between 40 and 74.
The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40-74. It’s designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type two diabetes and dementia. People are eligible to attend their GP surgery every five years to have this check-up.
We are looking to understand what motivates people to attend a check-up, or prevents people from taking part. The aim is to explore, how the service is being currently delivered, if it works and look at more flexible ways to increase attendance, bringing it in-line with modern life.
