Job vacancy: North East Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Watch Area Network Coordinator

VANEL is recruiting for a North East Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Watch Area Network Coordinator.

Pay rate: £15/hour                                                                  Hours of Work: 15 hours per week

The North East Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Network needs a part-time Network Coordinator.

The post holder will champion neighbourhood watch, by co-ordinating the provision of high quality advice and guidance for neighbourhood watch group coordinators and their group members. The role also includes encouraging and supporting new watch groups to set up and operate across the North East Lincolnshire area.

Specific knowledge and practical experience of community engagement is essential and current knowledge and experience of neighbourhood watch operations is highly desirable.

You will need to be customer-focused with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to network with people of all ages and backgrounds.the ability to support and guide young people to identify, design and deliver their own projects. They will understand and have experience of the voluntary sector and its role within local communities.

There will be a requirement to work in office conditions as well as both inside and outside community buildings and people’s homes depending on the activity being delivered. The ability to work flexible hours is essential as evening and weekend work will be required.

Please be aware that this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. You will need to be a car driver with a clean driving licence and access to a car that is fully insured for business use.

Contract Start Date: 1st April 2019                                  Contract End Date: 31st March 2020
