Cyber crime Zoom session

Firstly, apologies, I only saw this alert this morning, when logging on, so yesterday’s has gone unfortunately. I am not on line all of the time while at home, so there will be some times when I do not catch up every day with news in real time.

However, see below for a session in May.

Online Cyber Crime Awareness Talk

Cyber crime is on the increase as more and more of us are getting online.
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Action Fraud has seen an increase in Covid -19 related frauds increase by an eye watering 400% in March alone!!

Fraudsters are preying on the vulnerable online in lots of different ways.

To find out more and learn how you can protect yourself from cyber crime, join PC Kennedy who is the lead in Cyber Crime at Humberside Police.

Sessions should last around 1 1/2 hours and are planned on the following days:

Wednesday 29th April 2020 at 1pm – (gone – sorry !)
Tuesday 5th May 2020 at 7pm.

In partnership with the Neighbourhood Network charity, PC Kennedy will be presenting the different types of Cyber Crime activity taking place in our area and how people can protect themselves. There will also be an opportunity for Q & A at the end of the session.

The session will be hosted on the zoom software (www.zoom.us) please make sure you have downloaded this software onto your device to access the session.  To register your interest please email office@nnetwork.org.uk stating what session you would like to access.  A email will be sent with the link to join the session.
