Funding secured to help cut crime in Grimsby neighbourhood

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside (OPCC) in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council have succeeded in a £432,000 bid to the Home Office Safer Streets Fund to improve the lives of residents living in the West Marsh area of Grimsby.

This was just announced on the website for the Police and Crime Commissioner, so you can read all the details here.

If you live in West Marsh or you have a Neighbourhood Watch Group in West Marsh then this will be of particular interest to you.  Keep an eye on the PCC website or this NELwatch website and we’ll try and post updates from the project as it gets underway.
