The next closing date for applications to the Crime Reduction Fund is 27th August 2021. After the panel meets, grants awardees will be announced on 17th September 2021.
There is a smaller pot of funding available in this round, so the maximum grant that can be applied for or will be awarded is £5000.
The Crime Reduction Fund has been running for a good number of years now and has supported a wide range of projects across the borough tackling issues around crime and community safety in line with priorities in the local Crime and Policing plans.
So if your group has an idea that could help tackle local community safety issues then please read all the guidance and get your application in. If you need to discuss the process for applying or whether your project might be eligible then please discuss this with Richard Wendel-Jones at VANEL. (VANEL administer the funding applications and the funding pot but a panel make the funding decisions).
