New ‘streetlink’ app to alert local authority to homeless sleepers

Have you ever seen a rough sleeper on North East Lincolnshire’s streets, and wondered how to report it? Ever wondered what happens to that rough sleeper?

The StreetLink app can be used to alert the local authority – North East Lincolnshire Council – to the issue and the person, so that some support and action can be taken.

Read all about this approach in NEL on the Council blog here.

Visit the App Store or Play Store to download the “Streetlink” app.

If you’re concerned about homeless sleepers then you can contact the homeless prevention team on 01472 326296 option 1 or visit the council website for more information. I am homeless | NELC (
