Residents who live in the more rural wards of North East Lincolnshire are now able to request free items of personal or household safety equipment to held them be safer and feel safer in their homes and when out and about.

The programme is run by VANEL and funded by the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner. It’s live now and runs just for a couple of months.

So, if you live in one of these wards, you should visit www.nelwatch.org.uk/equipment and read all the details and request your free security items: WOLDS, IMMINGHAM, WALTHAM, HUMBERSTON/NEW WALTHAM, FRESHNEY, YARBOROUGH, SCARTHO

(If you don’t live in one of these areas then this programme cannot support you. However, different schemes are available ward by ward so VANEL has produced a guide here which will show you what is available).

Don’t miss out – make your requests now.
