VANEL have just published a new version of our popular “Report IT” postcard.
The postcards are designed to circulate around communities so that residents have a quick reference to the correct way to report crimes and issues as well as useful other advice.
It’s a reminder to use 101 and 999 as necessary (rather than something like social media). And it’s a reminder that everything needs to be reported otherwise it can’t be acted on.
There’s also details about how to sign up for MyCommunityAlert or the new Police app, so that you can keep up to date.
This latest postcard includes a QR code, which, when scanned, takes you to our new information page here: www.nelwatch.org.uk/reportit
Whilst the postcard can be downloaded as a .pdf here, it’s much more intended to be handed out physically.
We’ll be working with partners, especially Ward Councillors and the Neighbourhood Policing Teams to circulate these around our communities.
Unfortunately printing these postcards costs money – thank you to the South Ward Councillors who helped fund this print run. So supplies are limited I’m afraid.
Postcards can be collected from VANEL/Big Local at 82 Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 7DP. Or they can be requested by partners via Karl Elliott (karl@vanel.org.uk).
Keep an eye on the information page for more details of where the postcards can be collected from.
If your Neighbourhood Watch Group (or other neighbourhood/residents group) would like some to distribute, please contact Karl.
