The Neighbourhood Watch are pleased to announce the launch of another round of funding for community projects open to Neighbourhood Watch groups only.
Applications are now open, and they won’t close until 14 January 2025, so there is plenty of time for you to perfect an application.
Their funding priorities are:
· Tackling Antisocial Behaviour – Improving the community environment
· Increasing membership of local watches
· Addressing crime through Community Cohesion
· Tackling loneliness in our Neighbourhood Watch communities
The size of grant you can apply for is between £100 – £300. Groups can only hold one grant at a time and only hold one grant in each financial year. The grant will need to be spent by the end of October 2025. Groups are defined as: schemes, areas, districts or Associations, e.g. several schemes can hold grants within an Association, and that Association can also hold its own grant, but all projects or applications must be clearly defined and separate from each other. Read all of the T&Cs on the website.
Applying couldn’t be easier – just visit here to read the guidance and submit the form.
Notes:
To apply you will need to be an approved and registered Neighbourhood Watch scheme. In North East Lincolnshire you’ll need to check with Karl Elliott that your scheme is properly approved and you might need to be registered online. Contact Karl for help before you apply for the grant
