Good morning on another sunny day !
Firstly, thanks to all of you who read this blog on a regular basis, and have made contacts with neighbours, and other residents, in regards to shopping needs and collection of any prescriptions needed.
May I send out a gentle reminder that with the length of time of the current lockdown and expected continuation, that the financial circumstances of some of your friends and neighbours locally could have changed.
Without being nosey, and delving into personal finances, is there any way that you can ensure that these people do not require further assistance from local agencies like the Blue Lights Brigade volunteers, Sector Support or Age UK.
The N.E. Lincolnshire support phone line is being run through the council offices on 01472 313131 – please use this one as the only one for support, as all calls are logged and then distributed to the correct place / people for action.
No one should be worried about having to pay for food or utilities in these unprecedented times, and expert help is freely available.
PLEASE HELP A PROUD ELDERLY AGE GROUP OF PEOPLE FROM THINKING THEY ARE BEGGING FOR HELP – THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ANYONE WITH MEDICAL OR SEVERE FINANCIAL NEEDS OF ANY AGE !
THANK YOU.
