We have received an update informing us that the ‘No Cold Calling’ signs have no legal status, they are purely advisory.
If a cold caller visits your home, is asked to leave and refuses to do so, then that would be considered a breach.
What the sign should tell the cold caller is that all the residents in the locality are aware of their rights/protection and are therefore unlikely to do business on the doorstep.
