Please note – that there is a new scam starting up in regards to Coronavirus travel lockdowns, and having to make claims on travel insurances for cancellations of trips.
If you travel for business or pleasure, and are covered by any form of travel insurance, please check that travel disruption cover is inclusive, as several major companies are now stopping the cover as of today, or using Foreign Office and Government advice not to pay out on current policies if you travel without making proper checks.
If you do intend to still travel, and need any form of travel insurance cover, check all of the small print, or better still, contact the provider directly, and talk to an advisor to know your current and future rights on your policy.
