Karl and I have both had time away from work, so this is me returning to the fold, fully refreshed.
So, Covid 19 restrictions are lifting / closing, according to where you live, and what you may do for a living, and the confusion on proper and correct scientific evidence is as muddy as ever.
Can I meet, can I greet via shoulder taps, what distance must I keep between us, will the quarterly meeting occur, do we wear a mask, face shield, have sanitising spray in place, clean rooms before and after meetings? ETC, ETC !!
STOP ! MY BRAIN IS DISSOLVING WITH SAFETY INFORMATION !
THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY TO NHW MEETINGS FOR GROUPS OR FULL CO-ORDINATORS.
The September meeting will not now take place, as many potential participants would not be able to join in a live on line “Zoom” or similar seminar invitation, and I cannot guarantee a sterile room to meet in.
I am happy to come out to meet group co-ordinators if they need me to do so, but, please give me at least a couple of days’ notice with my self employment H & S work starting to go ballistic, with returns to work to assess, and also, please explain what the problems are first, as other agencies could be better prepared to handle problems or answer your questions.
If you have any information to pass onto the police officers in regards to local issues, please email them to me on
glyn@nelwatch.org.uk
or phone me on

We are still here to help, and have been actively canvassing in the Cleethorpes area due to specific funding obtained for leafletting in those postcodes aligned to Big Local in Cleethorpes.
If you received info in this manner, please reply, and let us know if you need help.
Even with current restrictions, we are still looking to actively push for new NHW groups anywhere in N E Lincs that need action and help where we can provide help or ongoing contact numbers.
I now have a lovely clear face shield to use, so that you can see my ugly mug, before opening a door or garden gate for any meeting.
Please stay in touch, especially with local neighbours who may be too proud to ask for help.
STAY SAFE, STAY ALERT, BE CAREFUL, OUR LOCAL INFECTION RATES ARE AMONGST THE LOWEST IN THE UK, LET’S KEEP IT THAT WAY !
