Any groups across the Humber region can access a number of initiatives:

Discounted Bike Locks

Theft of bikes is a real issue, with thousands being stolen across the
Humberside Policing area every year. This is one area were crime prevention
can have a massive impact and a small personal investment of a sold secure lock
can drastically reduce your chance of becoming a victim.

By investing in gold sold secure D locks, the Neighbourhood Network team can
now offer low-cost, yet high quality D locks to enable more people to protect
themselves against theft.

The locks sold by the Neighbourhood Network are priced at £17 each, however,
if you have previously been a victim of cycle crime AND you can provide your
police log number, these can be sold to victims of cycle crime at an even lower
rate of just £10.

of the organised events. Humberside Police are holding a variety of bike
register events across the Humber region, to get your bike register, keep an
eye out for one of their events. Alternatively, you can register your own bike

Zoom Training Sessions

In reaction to the lock down in March 2020, the Neighbourhood Network was quick to change its training and educational offering, to an online format with the use of Zoom. The series, titled ‘Keep Connected’ offers Neighbourhood Network members and the wider communities across the Humber region, access to a wide range of topics and partner organisations in these hourly webinars.

The aim of the FREE ‘Keep Connected’ webinars, is to provide key, current information to network members and the wider public, enabling them to feel better informed to make safer and healthier choices.

Each ‘Keep Connected’ session is delivered by an expert in their field and ends with a Q&A. Examples of ‘Keep Connected’ Webinars include:
