It could take up to three months before legal refunds can be paid out, so do not be fooled by instant promises of monies back from these fraudsters who are preying on people who have been hit, and could be vulnerable to wrong thought processes to secure replacement holidays or flights at short notice !
The CAA are currently, and correctly, concentrating on holidaymaker repatriation from resorts, and ensuring that no one is forced into instant hotel payments, which in many circumstances will be ATOL protected, so will not be handing out instant refunds.
